Stormin’ Da Castle is our take on the original India Pale Ales, first brewed to preserve beer being shipped from England to India during the late 1700s.
Extra hops not only ensured that the beer survived the 60-day journey, but was found to have improved flavor, creating a new, refreshing beer style that eventually evolved into an American sensation 200 years later.
A bit different from modern American IPAs, our version of traditional English IPA is brewed with traditional English malt and noble hops, yielding a less fruity ale with more of a biscuit flavor for a robust yet well-balanced classic brew.
